On Treading a New Journey Everyday
UncategorizedFebruary 10, 2011 3:26 pm

July 2007. This is almost four years ago since I started this blog, yet I have only managed to put on a handful of entries. I don’t know what got into me that I just looked for this blog, and really found ways just to retrieve my user name and password. I remember making it a periodic resolve to update this blog whenever possible. But seems that time and circumstances were not really on my favor. Things were popping out here and then that really needed my attention- things that for me are more essential than updating this blog. I started this site when I was still single, young, carefree, in the middle of a career-switching decision. Those four years that came in between, countless things have happened that for me defined what person I am right now. This would become a very long narrative if I will enumerate all my adventures and misadventures during those four years. Hopefully, to elaborate more on those tasks and experiences will be a topic on each of my entries.

Now I finally have some ideas on my future entries for this blog.

MEMOIRS. I fervently hope I can sustain this site.

Today I got up soo so early, it was still 3am when I checked on my watch. It was a rare incidence because I normally would wake up around 6-7am, just before I get myself ready for work at around 8. Maybe because its TGIF fever (thank God it’s Friday!). I didn’t know what to do, since I was not sleepy anymore. Mindy was out-of-town so I had no one to bug or wake up. I now remember I just had a bad dream, actually a gross one! Read: there were rats, two of them running out from my mouth! Yuck! That was enough to make me wide awake! since the world outside was still very quiet, I decided to check on my phone though I know no one will be texting me on that unholy hour. I thought of when am I gonna start on my “turning ordinary things to extraordinary things” project. I got that idea on a flickr website. Hmmm, on my birthday perhaps? That would be good timing to start on something fresh…
Now, my head’s starting to ache. I only got six hours of sleep! Plus a very hectic day today in the office; i think I’m going to sleep early tonight. Mindy and I agreed we will go jogging tomorrow early dawn. Time to shed some fats!

This morning I felt that I need to go to work early for some reason I did not know. I got up and finished dressing up 30 minutes earlier than I normally do. Thought this has something to do with updating my web logs. Just as I thought…

I love beaches. It’s something that really fascinates me about nature, how rich the marine life can be. It is an entirely different life down below. The sea breeze, the ebbs along the seashore, the sunrise and sunsets, the colors so marvelously silhouetted. In my out f town trips I make sure to have sea sights and pictures. Two months ago I went on a holiday vacation somewhere along the beach. I had the chance to stay on the beach for quite sometime and the experience was just overwhelming. I had the most relaxed feeling so far. Its as if the sea gave me peace.

MusicJuly 26, 2007 7:29 am

I came to listen to Matt Wertz song entitled 5:19 and right then I went ga-ga with the song. I was attracted to its musical style, in similarity with that of John Mayer’s,( I loved his music!) that I choose it as soundtrack in my friendster page. I googled the lyrics, and to found out it related to my feeling (and my boyfriend’s, for that matter.)

One eye on the clock And one on the phone

It’s 5:19…. I’m feeling alone

If I could talk to you I’d want you to know

I’m holding loose But ain’t letting go.

MoviesJuly 21, 2007 9:17 am

This is the second week of the JK Rowling’s fifth book Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in the cinemas, and I still have not got into the hype of watching it the soonest. Unlike the previous installments where we, my sisters and I, had to endure sitting in the stairs of the moviehouse so as not to be behind from the talk of the town, now it just lost its appeal on me. Maybe because I have’nt read the book yet. My sisters keep on bantering me to watch it, since I get to pay for the tickets! and well, school stuff; everyone in school will be talking about it.

Well, my sister lent me a copy of the book, which by the way, is the thickest one among those previous books. How could I possibly finish it until this weekend? hmmm.
